Who are Betclic?

Alison Galea, the Head of Talent Development at Betclic, has been with the company for over 12 years. With a rich background in human resources and a focus on people development, Alison has played a key role in Betclic’s growth and evolution. What motivated Betclic to collaborate with iGaming Academy? 

As a company operating in highly regulated markets, Betclic recognised the necessity for comprehensive and effective training to ensure compliance with various regulations. The company sought a solution that could meet these requirements while also supporting its global workforce with multilingual options.  

Betclic chose to partner with iGaming Academy as they are a local, Malta-based provider, offering gaming-specific training solutions – a first at the time of collaboration. Using their bespoke Learning Management System, Betclic provide their training in both English and French, accommodating the linguistic diversity of Betclic’s workforce.

• Anti-Bribery Training 

• PCI-DSS Training 

What impact has the partnership had? 

The collaboration with iGaming Academy has enhanced compliance and safer gaming practices at Betclic: 

• High Completion Rates: In 2023, Betclic achieved a 95% completion rate for over 1200 employees in courses covering Safer Gaming, AML, Anti-Bribery and GDPR. The company also saw a 94% completion rate for over 800 employees in other critical areas.
