The course will focus on the essential aspects of the Maltese Gaming Act and the workings of the Malta Gaming Authority.

The course consists of 12 units lasting from 2-2.5h that can be taken individually. Pick the units that are most relevant or interesting to you to make up your 10 CPD hours.

  • 20th May @ 2pm | Duration: 2h – The use/acceptance of crypto-assets by gaming companies
  • 21st May @ 10am | Duration: 2.5h – Gaming regulations with a focus on B2B
  • 22nd May @ 10am | Duration: 2h – Company law with a focus on share capital, transfers, allotments and similar matters
  • 23rd May @ 10am | Duration: 2h – Company law with a focus on the role of directors and corporate governance
  • 27th May @ 10am | Duration: 2.5h – Employment Law
  • 28th May @ 10am | Duration: 2.5h – Mergers and acquisitions – dealing with a legal due diligence
  • 29th June @ 10am | Duration: 2.5h – The world of payments and e-money regulations and practical aspects of dealing with payment providers
  • 4th June @ 10am | Duration: 2.5h – Intellectual Property
  • 17th June @ 3pm | Duration: 2.5h – Contract Law
  • 19th June @ 10am | Duration: 2.5h – Practical Aspects of Being an In-House Lawyer
  • TBC | Duration: 2.5h – GDPR for Lawyers by Lawyers (Also suitable for GDPR Key Function)

Course format: Virtual Classroom

This course will be held in a virtual classroom setting, led by an experienced industry specialist. You will learn alongside other gaming professionals of a similar level, providing opportunities to explore key topics in a collaborative environment. There will be opportunities to ask questions throughout the session.

Entry Criteria & Suitability

This course will be conducted in English and requires a good level of comprehension. Students must be 18 years or older upon starting this course. Under 18’s are advised to contact us to discuss alternative training arrangements. Good understanding of English.

 

 

A certificate will be provided after completion of the course. The certificate will state the following:

  • your name
  • the course title
  • the number of CPD hours
  • the date of completion

The certificate will be signed on behalf of iGaming Academy.
