WHY TAKE THIS COURSE

The course will provide an overview of the salient features of the Gaming Act and subsidiary legislation, the nature of the regulations and directive.

The course will further analyse the salient conditions of Contract Law, Quasi-Contracts, Tort Low and Quasi Tort in accordance with the Maltese Civil Code. It will also focus on important provisions in the Maltese Companies Act, such as the liabilities and responsibilities of directors, law of meetings, corporate fraud and wrong-doing. Finally the course, will focus on salient provisions of Maltese Employment Law.

An overview of the Gaming Act, a thorough understanding of Contract Law, Quasi Contracts, Tort Law and Quasi Tort, the salient features of the Companies Act relevant to gaming companies and important aspects of Maltese Employment Law.

This course is held over 4 sessions each lasting 2.5 hours.

Course format: Virtual Classroom

This course will be held in a classroom setting, led by an experienced industry specialist. You will learn alongside other gaming professionals of a similar level, providing opportunities to explore key topics in a collaborative environment. There will be opportunities to ask questions throughout the session.

Entry Criteria & Suitability

This course will be conducted in English and requires a good level of comprehension. Students must be 18 years or older upon starting this course. Under 18’s are advised to contact us to discuss alternative training arrangements. Good understanding of English.

 

 

A physical certificate will be provided after completion of the course. The certificate will state the following:

  • the course title
  • the number of CPD hours
  • the date of completion
