WHY TAKE THIS COURSE

This course will provide a background of how Privacy has developed over the years.

An overview of a Remote Gaming operator’s data protection obligations and practical considerations relating to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation and implementation of a company-wide privacy framework will then be discussed. The course will close off by analysing a number of practical considerations and principles emanating from case law.

AGENDA

This course is held over 4 sessions each lasting 2.5 hours.

  • 27th June (Mon) - 3pm – 5.30pm: History and Development of Privacy
  • 30th June (Thursday) 3pm – 5.30pm: Fundamental components to set up a company-wide privacy framework
  • 28th June (Tues) - 3pm – 5.30pm: Overview of the applicability and principles emanating from the General Data Protection Regulation
  • 1st July (Friday) 3pm – 5.30pm: Practical Considerations for adherence to data protection principles: An analysis of pertinent case law

Course format: Virtual Classroom

This course will be held in a classroom setting, led by an experienced industry specialist. You will learn alongside other gaming professionals of a similar level, providing opportunities to explore key topics in a collaborative environment. There will be opportunities to ask questions throughout the session.

Entry Criteria & Suitability

This course will be conducted in English and requires a good level of comprehension. Students must be 18 years or older upon starting this course. Under 18’s are advised to contact us to discuss alternative training arrangements. Good understanding of English.

 

 

A physical certificate will be provided after completion of the course. The certificate will state the following:

  • your name
  • the course title
  • the number of CPD hours
  • the date of completion
