With a dedicated workforce of 300+ employees, the company operates under gaming licenses in Sweden and Malta, as well as Estonia and Peru. To enhance their responsible gaming practices, CoolBet partnered with iGaming Academy to implement a series of training courses. These include the Responsible Gaming Foundation, MGA, and SGA jurisdictions, as well as player protection modules designed to equip employees with essential knowledge and skills.
In a recent conversation with Fjodor, Responsible Gaming Manager at CoolBet, we explored how our partnership has supported their team in strengthening responsible gaming practices.
Who is Fjodor?
Fjodor has a diverse background, beginning in customer service roles at Kindred Group before moving into responsible gaming positions at Finnplay, JVH Gaming, and CoolBet, where he relocated from Estonia to Malta in 2022. With 8 years of experience in the industry, including 6.5 years focused on responsible gaming, he progressed from Customer Support to RG Analyst and is now the Responsible Gaming Manager. Driven by a passion for helping players facing gambling issues, Fjodor finds great reward in meaningful interactions with players and is dedicated to fostering a safe, responsible gaming environment.

Did our training/trainer meet or exceed your expectations?
Overall, the RG Foundation training was well-received and met expectations. For the Player Protection Modules, the content was helpful, especially in areas like The Psychology of Gambling Addiction and Understanding the Problem Gambler. CoolBet has its own internal procedures for addressing these situations, so aligning the training with their specific processes could further enhance the experience.
Most employees have successfully completed the courses, and the team is working to ensure everyone takes their time with each module by sending reminders when necessary. Looking forward, CoolBet is excited to explore Content Uploads for customised responsible gaming training, tailored to their internal needs.

Thanks to the comprehensive training provided by iGaming Academy, CoolBet achieved a completion rate of 92% across all nine modules, reflecting their commitment to educating staff on responsible gaming practices and regulatory requirements.
