Investing in Skills is a funding scheme from the European Union with a budget of €5 million available until 30th June 2023, which is managed by Jobsplus in Malta. This scheme was launched to promote investment in human capital in the Maltese labour market as well as to increase productivity and enhance adaptability.

What is Investing In Skills?

Investing in Skills is a funding scheme from the European Union with a budget of €5 million available until 30th June 2023, which is managed by Jobsplus in Malta. This scheme was launched to promote investment in human capital in the Maltese labour market as well as to increase productivity and enhance adaptability.

Is this scheme only available in Malta?

Companies applying for the funding must be registered in Malta, and the learners will need to be registered with the company in Malta. Generally the training will need to take place in Malta, but there are a few exceptions. Please get in touch for more information if you have a training that you are looking to have abroad.

What is the level of funding based on?

Various factors affect the level of funding available, including size of company, course material, accreditation and the time training is conducted.

Does iGaming Academy provide the funding?

No. Applications for funding must be made directly to Jobsplus Malta who manage the scheme. iGaming Academy can offer initial advice and assistance with applications.

Can I arrange bespoke training?

Yes, we are able to arrange bespoke training upon request, and this may be eligible under the Investing In Skills scheme. This is limited to 15 learners.

When do I need to apply?

At least 21 days before the course starts. Jobsplus need to have received and registered your application by this time.
