Block time in your calendar – Blockchain is coming to Malta

Blockchain is a very hot topic, currently making its way across the world and into a wide selection of business sectors. It’s the talk of the town, the matter of the moment, which has also made a great impact on the iGaming community. The population is already playing virtual games, betting online, spinning the imaginary roulette – it’s only natural that virtual currency and its essential security is becoming a progressively bigger part of daily life. For the industry, it opens up new doors to protect the players, to protect the companies, and become even better at detecting foul play. Enter – Malta Blockchain Summit. Supported by the recent initiation of Malta’s Virtual Currency Act, the first Malta Blockchain Summit will be held this year from the 1st to the 2nd November at the Malta InterContinental in St. Julians.

This event will host more than 4,000 delegates, 100 speakers, and 150 sponsors and exhibitors, as well as having the Prime Minister of Malta as the keynote speaker. There will be the possibility to network with global influencers, forge new connections and be part of a variety of discussions concerning Blockchain and its potential for applications across industries.

As one would imagine, attendees will also be offered the possibility to engage in more activities ranging from the much-anticipated Networking Poker Tournament, evening meals,  a decadent Champagne Brunch, and will take you back to  the 20s at the Rum & Cigar Night The agenda for the event also includes a Hackathon for both individuals and teams and a riveting ICO pitch with a Dragon’s Den-like environment.

The summit will culminate with a celebration of the success of this first event. Delegates will have the opportunity to experience a Crypto Cruise, which will take them through the beautiful waters surrounding this Mediterranean Island followed by a celebrity-worthy crypto celebration.
